Over 100 Years of Alpinia Tradition
Over 100 years ago, our family’s great-grandparents founded a traditional costume association (Trachtenverein) at what is now our location in Mariendorf. At the heart of this association stood the Wirtshaus Alpinia. Countless enthusiasts joined and met regularly to cultivate the traditional festivals and customs of the alpine region. For over 80 years, the Bavarian Wirtshaus Alpinia stood at this very spot. In July ’93, it made way for today’s hotel. To this day, we proudly carry on the name and the traditional hospitality of the historic Wirtshaus Alpinia.
